1. Your dreams & aspirations could touch new horizons at IGRUA, the pioneer flying training institution in the country with the state of the art training facilities. Alumni of IGRUA are already flying the Indian skies over the years as pilots in national carriers and private airlines.

2. IGRUA offers Ab-initio to CPL Course for issue of CPL with Multi–engine endorsement and Instrument Rating (IR) on Multi-engine Aircraft. Shortlisted candidates shall be inducted as per Final Merit in batches every three months starting July 2015.

3. Eligibility

Note:-
i) In case SC/ST and OBC candidates do not qualify even after 5% relaxation in the Entrance Written test, the seats would be de-reserved for General Category.
ii) Candidates can also opt for B.Sc. (Aviation) Degree from Chatrapati Sahu Ji Maharaj University Kanpur, being conducted simultaneously with CPL Course. Duration of this course will be 03 years.
iii) Candidates appearing in qualifying examination in 2015 will be provisionally eligible and subject to compliance of eligibility criteria.

4. Medical:
Selected candidates may join with class II medical, however they will have to clear & submit Class-I Medical Fitness Certificate subsequently. Please Click here for List of Centers/Doctors for Class-I & II medical available at DGCA Website

5. Training fee:
Rs. 32.5 Lacs payable in four quarterly installments. The case for levy of service tax is subjudice and if confirmed by Court, the candidate will have to pay subsequently the same at applicable rates.

6. Boarding & Lodging:
Separate Hostels for Boys and Girls. Messing and hostel accommodation within the campus (on twin sharing basis), is provided. (Charges approximately Rs. 8000/- per month).

7. Selection:
ONLINE Written Test, Viva/Interview and Pilot Aptitude Test in the following manner:-

a) Written Test:
At allotted centres on 17 May 2015 (Sunday).

Please check “ENTRANCE 2015” check centre list on our website. Option for three centers is to be made giving first , second and third choice.

IGRUA reserves the right to cancel any Center if numbers of Applicants for the Center are inadequate.

Syllabus for Written Test:
General English, Maths, Physics, Reasoning & Current Affairs (10+2 level objective type questions only).

Qualifying Marks in Written Test:
The cutoff marks for SC/ST/OBC candidates will be 5% less from the cut off marks secured by the last candidate in the General category

b) Interview / Viva :
All short listed Candidates will be required to produce following documents in original as well as one photocopy of each document at the time of interview :
(i) Proof of Date of Birth ( such as 10th Class certificate )
(ii) 10th Mark sheet
(iii) 10+2 Mark sheet
(iv) Caste Certificate for SC/ST/OBC Candidates
(v) A Certificate from the competent Authority that the OBC Candidate does not belong to Creamy layer.

c) Pilot Aptitude Test / Psychometric Test:
- Only successful candidates in Pilot Aptitude / Psychometric Test shall qualify for final selection.
- No relaxation criteria will be applicable for SC/ST/OBC Candidates in Pilot Aptitude/Psychometric Test.

d) Commitment Money : Selected Candidates will be required to pay commitment money of Rs. 2 Lacs (non-refundable but adjustable against the total fee) to secure their seat.

8. Admit Cards:
Admit Cards can be downloaded on or after 7 May 2015 (Thursday). Admit cards will also have he interview and aptitude test schedule and will be valid only if the candidate is shortlisted in written test, so that the applicants may plan their visit to IGRUA for Interview/Aptitude Test in advance.

9. Travelling Allowance to SC/ST Candidates:
SC/ST candidates will be reimbursed only once 2nd Class to and fro rail fare on production of tickets from their registered address to Raebareli to appear for Interview/Pilot Aptitude/ Psychometric Test.

10. How to apply:
Applications are to be filled online only on prescribed format. The application form can be reached by clicking on“ENTRANCE 2015” available on IGRUA website.

11. Application Fee:
Non refundable application fee of Rs. 6000 for general and OBC candidates, can be paid either through internet banking, debit or CREDIT CARDS
 or in cash in any branch of State Bank of India through a payment slip to be generated online. The instructions are available on our website for the same. The SC & ST candidates are exempt from payment of application fee. | |||||||||||||||||
